Messob to start mobilization for biafra referendum

Movement for the Actualization of the
Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, weekend, said it has
commenced the sensitization and mobilization of people on
the need  and pattern for Biafran referendum which will soon
commence in the country.

In a statement issued in Abakaliki, MASSOB leader, Mr
Uchenna Madu, said the referendum was not only the need of
the hour but also the methodology for the actualization of the
sovereign state of Biafra in no distant time.
According to him, “the referendum will determine our future
existence as an indigenous people’ and undo the British
enslavement policies of the Ndigbo.”
The statement read in part: “The Movement for Actualization
of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has started
mobilizing and sensitizing the people of Biafra on the need
and pattern of the Biafran Referendum that will commence
soon.
“We see it as the need of the hour, as every self
determination struggle had its methodology. The non violent
Biafra struggle and restoration urgently and earnestly
demands the long awaited referendum.
“MASSOB, Biafra Peoples National Council, BPNC, and other
pro-Biafran groups have resolved to thwart and undo this
British enslavement called marital union that will never work
again.
“We have also resolved to work in unity of strength, cohesion
and one accord  pursuant to achieving a resounding
referendum exercise that will determine our future existence
as an indigenous people.
“The current escalation of the quest for an exit from the failed
Nigerian union must, therefore, be seen by the global
community in its true context as the continuation of an
almost 50 years old fight for self-determination, driven by a
clash of irreconcilable civilizations and cultures, erected by
colonial fiat.
“Providentially, the United Nations Declaration on the Rights
of Indigenous Peoples 2007, offers a fresh window of
engagement with these volatile issues in a manner that
steers everybody away from the specter of violence, since a
simple Referendum can resolve the matter instead of war and
violence.”
“It was in pursuit of this non violence option that MASSOB
support the Lower Niger Congress Solemn Assembly of The
Peoples of The Lower Niger in Port Harcourt on 27th April
2015 at which it was unanimously resolved that the Peoples
of the Biafran Territory shall go to a Referendum to determine
their political future in exercise of their Right to Self
determination.
“Nigeria was a colonial-era creation of the British. The
country was on January 1st 1914 artificially cobbled together
by the annexation of the then Protectorate of Southern
Nigeria to the then Protectorate of Northern Nigeria in an
exercise officially tagged “Amalgamation”.
“The mind-boggling failures of this otherwise giant promise
on the African Continent has been the subject of many
researches and academic inquisition.
“Decades of routine, massive bloodletting which punctuate
these monumental failures came to global reckoning in
1967-1970, Eastern Nigeria, one of the four Federating
Regions that constituted Nigeria, found itself in a genocidal
war.
“The war was levied on it by the rest of Nigeria, having
proclaimed itself the Republic of Biafra in a desperate bid to
preserve the remnants of its population who were being
decimated in mass xenophobic killings by rampaging
Northern elements who clung unto a false interpretation of a
botched military putsch in January 1966 in which leading
Northern politicians lost their lives.
“These pograms collapsed the Union of Nigeria and the
attempt to revive the Union failed in January 1967 after an
Accord reached in Aburi, Ghana was jettisoned by the Federal
Side.
“In the war that erupted, over 3 million Biafrans perished as a
result of coalition of Arabs countries with Nigeria and British
sponsored Western back up amidst the search for self-
determination, in circumstances that cast a shadow of doubt
on the humanity of mankind of that era.
“The gory pictures from the killing fields of Eastern Nigeria,
particularly defined by the bony frames of thoroughly
malnourished infants, with protruding stomachs signaling the
terminal stages of hunger-induced kwashiorkor.
“At the cessation of bomb and bullet hostilities against the
people of Biafra in 1970, the acclaimed victorious Federal
side isolated the Igbos of Eastern Nigeria and continued the
War by other means, particularly on the economic, political
and other fronts.
“MASSOB draws more insight   In the words of Lamido Sanusi
Lamido, the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank of
Nigeria and now the Emir of Kano:
“The Northern Bourgeoisie and the Yoruba Bourgeoisie have
conspired to keep the Igbo out of the scheme of things.
“They have been defeated in war, rendered paupers by
monetary policy fiat, their properties declared abandoned and
confiscated, kept out of strategic public sector appointments,
and deprived of public services.
“The rest of the country forced them to remain in Nigeria and
has continued to deny them equity. Our present political
leaders have no sense of history.
“There is a new Igbo man who was not born in a 1966 and
neither knows nor cares about Nzeogwu and Ojukwu. There
are Igbo men on the streets who were never Biafrans. They
were born Nigerians and are Nigerians, but suffer because of
the actions of earlier generations.
“They would soon decide that it is better to fight their own
war and maybe find an honourable peace than to remain in
this contemptible state in perpetuity. The Northern
Bourgeoisie and the Yoruba Bourgeoisie have exacted their
pound of flesh from the Igbo.
“For one Sardauna, one Tafawa Balewa, one Akintola and one
Okotie-Eboh, hundreds of thousands have died and suffered.
If this issue is not addressed immediately, no Conference will
solve Nigeria’s problems.” (Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, at a
Public Lecture titled, “Issues in Restructuring Corporate
Nigeria” 11th September, 1999, at Arewa House Kaduna).
“For the sake of brevity, MASSOB in consonant with the
Lower Niger Congress adopts this succinct 1999
encapsulation of the Igbo misery in Nigeria, though as to be
expected, the situation has gone much worse for the Igbo,
with the introduction of violent sharia by 12 States of Far
North since year 2000.
“There is no doubt that the 1999 prophesy of   Lamido Sanusi
Lamido is simply fulfilling itself now, simply because nobody
heeded that sober call for equity.
“Needless to recount here the several debilitating
Constitutional shackles, consciously emplaced by the same
victorious Alliance of the rest of Nigeria against the people of
Biafra, in what now translates to a master-servant
Constitutional Order, comparable only to the apartheid era of
South Africa, presently anchoring Nigeria’s “Democracy.”
“It is against this backdrop that one can meaningfully
examine the dynamics driving both the relentless, ubiquitous
demand for ‘Biafra,” and the world-wide outrage of the people
of Biafra against the incarceration and molestation of “Biafra”
agitators.
“It is also against this backdrop that one can appreciate the
urgency of Richard Branson’s recent reminder to the whole
world of this dark, shameful chapter of human history when
he republished those horrifying pictures and war-time editorial
comments on his Twitter page, indicting his home country,
Britain, for leading other Allies, including the United States
and Russia, to visit such genocide upon a people for no
reason beyond oil.
“Probably prompted by the resurgence of the agitations for
the resuscitation of Biafra, Richard Branson had queried
aloud, why 48 years after the Biafra Genocide, the World
pretends that nothing happened.
“For purely commercial reasons, the more endowed
Southern Nigeria was politically subjugated to the North in
what the British creators of Nigeria explicitly envisaged as a
permanent marriage between a poor Northern husband and a
Southern Lady of means that gives Britain an indirect control
of the Country.
“By a cablegram message of December 1913, the then British
Secretary for the Colonies, Lord Harcourt, boss to Lord
Frederick Lugard, had captured the purport and import of the
impending Annexation of the then Protectorate of Southern
Nigeria to the then Protectorate of Northern in the following
words:
“We have released Northern Nigeria from the leading strings
of the Treasury. The promising and well conducted youth is
now on an allowance of his own and is about to effect an
alliance with a Southern Lady of Means. I have issued the
special license and Sir Frederick Lugard will perform the
ceremony. May the Union be fruitful and the couple
constant.”

LANDLORD'S SON STAB TANANT TO COMA, IN LAGOS

tenant wife stab pics

Doctors at Araba Medical Hospital in Abule-Egba area of
Lagos are trying their best on a newly-wedded woman,
who was allegedly stabbed many times by her landlord’s
son for allowing a man, considered as an enemy of the
landlord, into her apartment at Ishaga Street.
The visitor was said to have been banned from entering the
house by the landlord.
The victim, Mrs. Taiwo Kehinde, however, expressed
gratitude to God for bringing her out of coma.
According to her, “my landlord’s son, Jimoh Yusuf,
attacked me right inside my apartment with broken
bottles. My sin was that my husband allowed one of his
friends into our apartment.
“I was returning from my shop last Friday, when I met this
family friend, Monday Michael, who lives opposite us. He
told me to leave the house that my husband and our
landlord’s son were quarrelling.
“I decided to go inside and change into something else.
The family friend left for his house, while I entered our
apartment.
“I was trying to change my wears when Jimoh barged
inside and started shouting. He said ‘I have told you and
your husband that I don’t want to see that man (family
friend) anywhere close to this house. But you wouldn’t
obey. I am going to kill you before your husband comes
back’.
“Before I knew it, he broke the bottles in his hands and
started stabbing me all over my body, until I passed out.
This is not the first time he has beaten me. I am not his
wife, neither am I related to him.”
Genesis
Her husband, Mayowa Kehinde, traced the genesis of his
problem with the suspect to the visit of Michael, few hours
before his wife was attacked.
He said: “My friend, Monday, came to visit me that day.
But when my landlord saw him, he ordered him to leave his
house, even when I tried to explain that he was my visitor
and that we have known each other long before I moved
into his house.
“I reluctantly saw my friend off at about 9p.m. By then, my
wife was not back. On my way back, I was welcomed with
shouts by my neighbours to quickly rush in, that Jimoh
wanted to kill my wife.
“When I rushed inside, my wife was in a pool of her blood,
while Jimoh still held onto the broken bottles. I held him as
he tried to escape from the scene, while a woman rushed
to the police station to report the incident the matter.”
Neighbours’ reaction
When Vanguard visited the couple’s residence, neighbours
alleged that the suspect was always attacking them,
particularly the women.
One of them, who spoke on the condition of anonymity,
said: “We have suffered untold pains in the hands of Jimoh
but this is the height.
“The most painful aspect of it is that his parents are
always supporting him. If you attempt to call the police,
they will threaten to issue you quit notice.”
Effort to get the reaction of the Lagos State Police
Command spokesman on the matter failed as she did not
respond to a text message sent to her.
However, police sources hinted that the suspect had been
arrested and charged to court on Wednesday from where
he was remanded at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison
over failure to meet the bail conditions.

TENSION!! MASSOB THREATEN TO STOP NEW YAM FESTIVAL, AFALA

The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign
State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday, warned traditional rulers
in the south-east geopolitical zone to henceforth, jettison the
idea of ofala celebrations and new yam festivals following
their inability to demand the release of detained Radio Biafra
Director, Nnamdi Kanu and other pro-Biafran agitators who
have been detained since October 10, last year.
MASSOB also revealed that it will call for a revolution in all
Igbo communities if by December, Nnamdi Kanu was not
released, adding that Ndigbo will not celebrate Christmas
with Kanu still in detention.
The pro-Biafra group said the traditional rulers lost relevance
when they failed to speak up for the release of their subjects
in detention which includes; Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin
Madubugwu, David Nwawuisi, Innocent Orji, Sabastine Amadi
and Benjamin Onwuka in prisons across the country.
It equally took a swipe at Igbo elites, religious leaders,
politicians among others who they have labeled as insensitive
to the Biafra struggle, wondering when Igbo will get
personalities like; Senator Ali Ndume (Senate leader); Sultan
of Sokoto and Emir of Kano; Senator Bola Tinubu and Gov
Ayo Fayose who stand up for the struggle of their people.
An infuriated MASSOB warned the traditional rulers in a
statement signed and made available to Vanguard by their
leader Uchenna Madu, which read: ”Why must Igbo traditional
rulers continue to celebrate Ofalas and new yam festivals
while their Biafran subjects are still in detention for Igbo
cause? We will stop these celebrations forthwith. What are
the religious leaders still preaching while our brethren are still
in prisons? We demand that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and others
will not spend Christmas in prisons again or an internal native
revolution will start in Igboland.
“MASSOB blasts Igbo religious, traditional, political and
opinion leaders for their nonchalant and insensitive attitude
concerning the plight of detained Biafra agitators in Nigeria
prisons. The non- violent struggle for Biafra is a reactionary
revolution against the continued neglect, political injustices/
imbalance of federal structures against Ndigbo by successive
government of Nigeria since 1970. We are in this self
determination struggle because of political, economical,
academical and religious slavery which the government of
Nigeria subjected Ndigbo into in Nigeria.
“We and other genuine pro-Biafra groups are in the  struggle
because of the grand plan to islamize the people of Biafra
with subtle and harsh economic policies. We are in the
struggle to counter and correct the evil plot to enslave our
children and their future. We are in the struggle to re-
establish and revive the tenacity, economic independence and
industrial nature of Ndigbo which astonished the world in
1950-70’s. Truly, we are in the struggle to restore the
dignity, culture and integrity of Ndigbo.
“Majority of Igbo leaders have brazenly betrayed the Igbo
cause and interest in Nigeria.”
Ohaneze youths indict Igbo political leaders
Equally, Ohaneze Youth Council, OYC, said that it would team
up with Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of
Biafra, MASSOB, to sanitize Igbo land and punish Igbo
politicians who have not done anything to improve the lives
of Ndigbo.
OYC said that it was in agreement with MASSOB that most
Igbo political actors have failed to put the interest of Ndigbo
first in their actions and need to be called to order.
The group said that they have started compiling names of
those they would handle.
A statement by   OYC  signed by Alex Okemiri said: “While
there is obvious external marginalization of Ndigbo, there is
also the internal marginalisation by our own people. What do
our governors do with the money that percolates to Igbo
land? Most of them use it to buy lands, houses and choice
properties all over the world. Some of them travel all over the
world at every opportunity. They owe pensioners and workers
for months . They do not care about the youths.
“ We are now compiling the list of such politicians and we
shall hand over the list to MASSOB for proper sanction while
we shall also carry out our own sanctions. The categories are
former governors, some former and serving senators, failed
contractors, about 3 serving Igbo governors, former and
serving ministers, former commissioners, and those who
benefitted from Jonathan’s election funds.
“ Infact, if by December this year, such failed politicians fail
to turn a new leaf, they will leave Igboland for us because we
cannot tolerate such people in our midst again. They cannot
stay in Igbo land and use our resources to better only their
lives and the lives of their girlfriends and hangers on while
their subjects suffer unduly.
“ Igbo contractors also given contracts in Igboland who fail to
execute such contracts creditably will also face the music.”

SHOCKING!!!! MAN CHOPS OFF NEIGHBOUR'S EAR OVER PLANTAIN

A 32-year-old civil servant in Rivers State,
Mr. Braide Chinedu, has been arraigned before a Chief
Magistrate’s Court sitting in Port Harcourt, for allegedly
chopping off his neighbour’s ear over ownership of a plantain
tree.
The accused person, Chinedu, who works with a federal
ministry in Port Harcourt, reportedly attacked his neighbour,
Mr. Adelowu Ogundele, with a matchete while Ogundale was
allegedly harvesting plantain at their Federal Housing Estate
residence in Port Harcourt.
The accused, who is facing two counts of assault, is also
accused of destroying plantain trees owned by one of his
former neighbours, Mrs Ibitayo Elizabeth.
After the charges were read, Chinedu pleaded not guilty.
Chief Magistrate B. M. F. Jamabo, granted the accused bail
in the sum of N400,000 and one surety, before adjourning the
case to October 23.

ARE YOU CHEATING ON YOUR SPOUSE, LEARN HER TO STOP

One of the biggest problem in relationship, unfaithfulness.
do u cheat on your spouse, and you are tired for doing that,
and you want to stop?, bro /sis you are reading the right article
apply this steps and notice a great change.

Nothing good comes from cheating on your spouse.
Nothing. Hurt feelings, betrayed trust and heartbreak are
unavoidable. There is no situation or excuse that will soften
the blow when the people you love find out what you did. Do
these five things to make sure you don’t ever cheat:
1. Make the commitment
Don’t ever let cheating cross your mind. Talk to your spouse
often about being faithful in your relationships. Commit to
never getting close with someone romantically. Always
wear your wedding ring to remind yourself and to alert
others that you are in a faithful relationship. Talk to your
spouse about what cheating means to you both as a couple.
Is it flirting with someone? Going out to lunch with
someone? Setting clear boundaries for your relationship will
help prevent either of you from crossing the line.
2. Involve your spouse
Having regular phone calls with someone you could get
romantically involved with is a bad idea. If you like spending
time with someone, do so with your spouse to make sure
things stay platonic. Even if you swear you are both just
friends, you can’t hide any flirtatious messages if your
spouse is involved. Add your husband or wife to
conversations to send a clear message you aren’t looking to
start anything.
3. Don’t get too close
Your spouse is the only person you should be confiding in.
Falling into the trap of thinking your husband won’t
understand, or you can’t talk with your wife about something
like that is wrong. You should be sharing secrets with your
spouse and no one else. Starting an emotional affair is just
as hurtful as a physical one.
4. Reach out for help
If you feel tempted to spark up a relationship with someone
else, tell someone. Don’t keep this to yourself. It will be a
difficult conversation to have with your spouse and your
family, but it needs to happen. You have made a
commitment to love one person; don’t betray that trust.
Talking with a professional privately and with your husband
or wife can also help resolve what you are feeling.
Read4 key reasons why it matters to put your spouse before
your children
5. Limit opportunity
If you are never in the situation where you could cheat on
your spouse, it will never happen. If your partner can’t come
to dinner with old friends, invite a trusted friend or couple to
join you. Don’t keep in touch with old flames on social
media; there is no reason to spark up a private conversation
with people from your past.
Stop letting the media trick you into believing the fairytale
ending that supposedly comes with infidelity. Marriage is a
beautiful promise to commit, support, love and respect
someone. Don’t throw away a life of happiness with
someone who truly loves you in the heat of the moment.

5 BEAUTIFUL WAYS TO PROPOSE TO A GIRL

There’s nothing as been great to love someone and also be loved by that particular person , that leaves you content, happy, and so on. It will also be great if that person love you in return also share the same dreams with you.
It is every girl’s dream to be asked a question that will lead to marriage, but unfortunately guys lack the skills in proposing to girls, i can say that girls are now tired of the old fashion way of proposing to them, the kneeling down, holding rose flower on your hand, saying girl will you marry me, no no no, that really old.
Though that the old way of proposing, guys can take it another level, i mean romantic level, more creative, below are some beautiful way of proposing to a girl to win her heart  and hear the ‘’YES’’
BE YOURSELF- This is the number one principle every guy must learn, create something yourself, do what your heart will like. If you want to capture a woman’s heart in a marriage proposal follow your heart and hers. It is every girls’s dream to be proposed to by a man, so therefore be yourself, be creative , be who you are and release those ‘’golden words’’ from your mouth
CANDLE LIT DINNER-  This is one of the classic way of proposing to a girl. Candle lit is one of the prerequisite element of a romantic evening . the dim lit of candle burning and the soft romantic song playing is a perfect setting for proposing to your dream girl.
Candle lit dinner is a romantic way of proposing to someone who has a special place in your heart. Guys set the mood by preparing her favorite food or  order their favorite .
Turn off all lit and lit the candle, play romantic, that set a perfect mood of proposing to her.
T-SHIRT PROPOSAL-Wear a t-shirt with the written on it ‘’do you love me’’ or ‘’will you marry me’’ and then cover it with a jacket, take her to that place you always meet, get on your kneels and reveal to her the  special stuff. Watch her reaction.
BANNER PROPOSAL-If you are afraid of rejection, you can try this style , when i say banner proposal i don’t mean you should place banner on the road, just at the front of her door or at her office and which you must be they. It’s advisable not to put her name but use the name you also call her that is endearment name.
YOUR FIRST MEETING PLACE-Take her to the place where  you meet each other for the first time . Recreate the  same moment and then propose to her. It will definitely move her and which will never leave her memory for her lifetime.

I got the beatings of my life today in front of my son, just
because I visited my son. I can’t keep quiet anymore
because my life I at stake, I’m posting this here because
I don’t know what will happen to me next.
My ex husband told me he will kill and bury me and

this trait because of her health.
