An Abuja Federal High Court, on Tuesday, sent the cousin of
former President Goodluck Jonathan, Azibaola Robert, to Kuje
Prison until the court determines his application for bail.
Azibaola, who was arraigned alongside his wife, Stella, and their
company Oneplus Holding Limited, was accused of receiving a
$40 million contract from former National Security Adviser,
Sambo Dasuki, who is also facing corruption charges.
The couple is facing a seven count charge of money laundering
and fraud.
The court, however, approved the administrative bail granted to
Stella by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission.
The case was adjourned till Wednesday.
